3 | Lesson Plans
Here, you can find lesson plans to help support you introducing WEGO to your students. While these lesson plans are developed for WEGO 1.0, they can be adapted to be used with other WEGO tools.

4 | Content Videos and Guides
Content video models are designed and validated to help students throughout the writing process. Nine short video clips reinforce key elements of persuasive essay writing and provide students with engaging, high-quality content. Content video models are available below as well as embedded throughout the WEGO 2.0 and WEGO 3.0 tools. Within those tools, they can be accessed by selecting the yellow light bulb icons with the designated video number.

In addition to the content video models, video guides offer teachers instructional suggestions for mini lessons and remediation activities based on students’ needs. Each video guide (a) introduces the topic of the content video model, (b) suggests how to use the video in the context of a lesson plan, (c) highlights the relevant vocabulary, (d) suggests how to check students’ understanding, (e) shares ideas for extension activities, and (f) makes explicit connections to features of WEGO 2.0 and 3.0. Video guides are available below:
